Democratic Candidate Rolls Out New Endorsements and Continues to Coalesce Democratic Support

TUCSON, Ariz. – State representative, Victoria Steele, candidate for Congress in Arizona’s second congressional district, today responded to Matt Heinz’s entry into the 2016 Democratic Primary and announced that her campaign for Congress was endorsed this weekend by over twenty prominent local leaders from the veteran, legal, law enforcement, medical, scientific, political, business, and LGBTQ communities. These endorsements come on the heels of Steele’s campaign being endorsed by seventeen state legislators and five Tucson City Council Members earlier last week.

“I am glad to welcome Matt Heinz into the 2016 Democratic Primary,” said Victoria Steele. “Our campaign is having a fantastic week and we have a tremendous amount of momentum already. We have collected 17 endorsements from a diverse group of state legislators, five Tucson City Council Members, and over twenty prominent local leaders from the veteran, law enforcement, business, political, medical, LGBTQ, scientific, and legal communities. No matter who runs we are moving full speed ahead and are very confident that we can win the Primary and General elections.”

TUCSON, Ariz. – State representative, Victoria Steele, candidate for Congress in Arizona’s second congressional district, today announced over a dozen crucial endorsements from Democratic state legislators. These endorsements come on the heels of Steele’s announcement of her candidacy for Congress on July 7th, 2015.
